What do you get when you cross Conan the Barbarian and your typical foul mouthed pirate wench? You get Rosemary.
Rosemary is a warrior woman, a true fighter. She is described a huge woman with a shapely body and a foul mouth. She is a match for any man and she doesn’t mind showing it. When she meets the slightly feminine Prince Delouise, things change. He wants her as his wife and he will not take no for an answer.
It isn’t often I get engaged in book after the first chapter. Sometimes it takes a couple of chapters for me to get myself in the mood and place myself into the world. This book however dragged me into its world. It was almost as Rosemary wanted me to pay attention from the get-go and she would not take no for an answer.
Sometimes you could tell that the book is self-published, but it was so much fun and different, that I did not pay it any mind. How Rosemary felt when she moved about the court and how they must have felt as they saw this lumbering woman move about, is reason enough to check this book out and I look forward to the next installment. After all it isn’t just about the court life.
